IF YOU EVER GET INTO YOUR CAR AND THE IGNITION COMES ON BUT IT WONT START,IF THE RED LIGHT IS ON THE CLOCK THAT MEANS YOUR KEY HAS BECOME PROGRAMMED. Alternatives are diagnostic fault code readingsystemswhich an engineer would plug into the vehicle's diagnostic socket with specialist equipmentand then be able to check all systems in the vehicle as well as If the engine won't turn over at all (no sound when turning key)or thestarter motor just continues to turn but the engine won't fire you may have immobilser issues. The garage who changed the engine over are taking it back in as the problem started there.
Fault - Engine does not start or crank: LED flashes rapidly. (Engine is immobilised but key will not cancel immobilisation) Check: Leave ignition switched on for at least one minute or Again, doesn't cost anything and I always recommend trying the free stuff first.Also, have a google for Ford key fob reprogramming procedures. well i replaced the battery in the key and the doors opened and shut with the remote as they should after!,when i got in the car to try start i turned as if you put a screwdriver cross on starter then it turns over just will not from key as the imoblizer is stoping it.
