I was able to adjust using a pair of small pliers. Oh well, at least i learnt how to check the fuses! Check the bulbs- just in case they really have all blown at once oh, and don't drive until they are fixed. This morning I re-seated the bulbs (both are positioned correctly) and the brake lights have started working again however the rear tail lights are still not working.
