At the time we had 2 wall switches and one of them had a dimmer switch on it and somehow that caused the problem. If your light kit is spinning, but the fan blades are not, this could indicate a faulty wiring issue. If I see corrosion on copper I'll use emery cloth to clean it off. Since they don't dim, can't identify"high or low" dim level.
