Will get another strap in two days. I simply took an eyeglass screwdriver and pried that contact up and out, then replaced the battery. Reply Lucca May 17, 2011 at 7:30 pm Thanks Steve, We live in Sao Paulo, Brazil - my wife bougth a Forerunner 210 last month, in new york. It is definitely a different design and for me anyway works well. http://sistemainmo.com/heart-rate/forerunner-heart-rate-monitor-not-working.php
However, over a period of time I started getting erratic readings and then it faded altogether. I've been without for so long…. I'm sure some of the public think I must be wearing some sort of a bra but with a beard they must be a bit puzzled.
Reply Gman June 19, 2011 at 11:41 pm Glad I found this site. It worked on my 405CX heart rate strap. Octavio on May 18, 2015 at 1:29 am said: Sorry, question not clear. What you said to bend the gold connector it worked straight away. Garmin 235 Heart Rate Monitor Not Working I thought you could only connect with a paired strap as well. As you sweats, the salts in the sweat is fairly hard to wash out of the belt with regular water. Could I wear the polar chest strap and my Garmin Edge 800 work with it? Had to go back to Garmin old HRM for my 110 and 405 which does not provide running dynamics information for my 620. http://sistemainmo.com/heart-rate/forerunner-305-heart-rate-monitor-not-working.php They work OK for the first part of my cycling work out…..then the HR stops working.

The weird thing is, that it worked during Ron's cycle class a few weeks ago but did the whole spike thing and went in and out. Reply BW November 21, 2010 at 4:25 pm thanks a lot…..after putting a new battery in, and bending the gold contact, it still did not work. That would be consistent with a problem that doesn't appear for a month (it takes a while for enough salt to accumulate), nor until running more than an hour (it takes No gel.
Works perfectly! You can find it in any hardware store, it is a silicone grease spray that cleans, desoxidizes and protects all kind of electrical contacts. I'm tired of screwing with these things. I have tried it on my back (even worse), wrapped around my side (about as bad), and I have used the giant tube of electrode gel (no apparent effect).
Someone please help me….. After applying some violence to that aswell, the watch suddenly received contact! (After rescanning). Just an alert here, don't just discount repeated 2 to 20 minute high HRM rates. When I stood still, my HR went back to normal.
