Excelente post. I've been using the Garmin transmitter/cut wearlink combo for a few weeks now without ever having spuriously low heart rates or other issues. Now, my question is - why do I need to stick the parts back together? Just get the polar strap (about $17) and you snap the Garmin head unit onto it.
