Well, I guess we are not alone. I Have measured the contact pad resistance with an Ohm meter, on new straps (Unused) and obtained readings typically of 1 - 2k ohms. Appreciate you taking the time to track down a link, too. The last thing I wanted is for it it be accurate, that my heart rate really was surging.

The old HRM works fine with the 210 but not the 610.
